The GTTP UK is managed by the Institute for Travel and Tourism (ITT) as part of its work with young people seeking careers in the industry. The ITT is the professional membership body for individuals employed in the travel and tourism industry.

The ITT is the only professional membership body for individuals employed in the travel and tourism industry, one of the largest trade sectors in the UK.  Established in 1956, the ITT is committed to raising professional standards within travel and tourism through links with education and industry.

The ITT shows its commitment to careers and education through its initiative ITT Future You. The leading event of its kind in the UK, ITT Future You offers students and emerging talent the chance to hear directly from industry professionals about their careers with hints and tips for success as well as the opportunity to network and engage with organisations across the travel and tourism spectrum.

Through its relationship with the GTTP, ITT Future You has gone global with events taking place in countries including Brazil, Kenya and Russia. In July 2020 and in response to the Covid-19 crisis, it launched the very first Virtual International Careers Conference, showcasing a diverse range of speakers from around the world to help support those considering the next step on their career journey.
