The Global Travel and Tourism Partnership (GTTP) is a registered USA charity, a 501(c)3, established 26 years ago to provide secondary, tertiary and high school students with the skills they need to find work. GTTP aims to make a real difference to the lives of young people, especially marginalised young people, by inspiring them to find their best future, working with education and industry partners to achieve this. We are uniquely placed to help create a global learning environment where young people can explore cultures and customs worldwide via our GTTP community, and at the same time get equipped with the skills they need for employment. The skills learned on the GTTP programme are transferable to a wide range of jobs, and students gain certificates on completion of GTTP’s courses which are endorsed by the Institute of Travel & Tourism (ITT) and the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC).
Our organisation operates in 17 countries/regions in Europe, Africa, East Asia, and North and South America. To date, almost three million students have participated in the GTTP. Among these, 700,000+ students are currently served in more than 4,500 schools worldwide.
This blog shares all things GTTP – opinions, case studies, news, commentary and more.
